Make your own homemade Tamarind straw

Tamarind Sauce

Ingredients:
2/3 cup Sour Soup Base Mix Concentrate (Por Kwan Thai brand)
1/2 cup coconut brown sugar
1 TBSP maple syrup
chili powder for coating

Directions:
Boil the ingredients except the chili powder for about 5 minutes. After the sauce cools down, pour it into a heat-safe tall glass or tall container. Dip straw ( I prefer reusable silicone straws) into the glass filled with sauce. Next, prepare a plate with chili powder and roll your straw on it to cover the straw with the chili powder. Freeze it for 10-15 minutes.
