O.M.G. Fries

I have a confession to make. Before the pandemic, I was getting fast food for the family at least twice a week because it was cheap, fast and addictive. Since we started quarantine a few weeks ago, we stopped getting fast food and cooked more than ever before! I call these O.M.G. Fries because I used my air fryer instead of deep frying in oil. More personally, my youngest son (a very cute and picky eater) loves and approve them! He's the one who passed by our kitchen table and shouted “Oh My God” at the basket of fries. As a parent of an autistic child, this was a win-win situation! Enjoy! Oh, by the way today is Autism Awareness Day :)

Recipe

Prep time: 5 minutes Cook time: 20 minutes
Feed 3-4

Ingredients:

5-6 russet potatoes (washed)
salt and black pepper to season
olive oil (sprayer if available)

Steps:

1) Rinse and dry potatoes. Cut in half length wise. Continue cutting length side until you get a handful of the size fries you like.

2) Place cut fries in air fryer basket and spray olive oil one one side. Add sea salt and black pepper then mix.

3) Using an Air Fryer, set the temp to 350°F for 10 min. Toss the fries to cook the other side for another 8-10 min depending on the crispiness. Add more sea salt and pepper to your liking. Please note air fryer models differ so cooking temperatures may have to be adjusted.
